It's all in the name really. cookware.nz is a New Zealand owned and operated business that sells cookware and kitchenware online. Pretty simple really. But doing it well is not so simple and that is where we excel. Try us today and begin your love affair with cookware.

Our story

Welcome to cookware.nz

cookware.nz is a New Zealand owned and operated business that was born from
Covid. Our sister business, Home Essentials, which sells a broader range of
home products and has a strong retail presence (since the early 2000's) was
dealing with Covid at the time and the business needed a complimentary online offering as
everyone moved to buying online through necessity.

We also needed a site that focused solely on cookware and kitchenware and
thus cookware.nz was born. Owners Chris and Meg bought the business in 2021 and
both work here every day. We share a retail store with Home Essentials so you
can always click and collect or visit us. There will be lots of site exclusive products
and brands coming over the coming months so keep checking back in with us.

We know that having the best prices and biggest range of products isn’t
enough and we know that you have many choices of where to buy so as a business
we are very focused on ensuring all our customers get the best possible service.

We have an awesome team with loads of experience, and we all look forward to
being of service to you soon.

Although primarily an online store cookware.nz does share a retail space with its sister company Home Essentials. If you need to click and collect or if you would like to see our products in a brand new funky and relaxed atmosphere pop on down to Link Drive and come have a chat. If you want to talk cookware then we want to listen – we love it!

Having a store (and not just any store but a 400sqm+ one) lets us see firsthand what sells and what doesn't and really understand what our customers want.

Dispatch Information

Store Pick Up Only - these products are particularly fragile and despite significant effort over the years to protect them when couriering we still encountered multiple breakages and therefore have chosen to no longer courier these items.

Ships 2-4 days – we pick these products up from our local suppliers twice a week and then send to you.

Ships 5-8 days – we order these products from our suppliers in Australia twice a week and then send to you on the same day they arrive in our store.

Special Order – This product is ordered as a one off with our European suppliers. They can take a few months to arrive. When you purchase we will be in touch with you within 24 hours to discuss.

Pre-Order - This product is currently out of stock or soon to be released by our supplier. Buying today will secure your order from our first delivery. We would usually expect these products to be in our store within 10-14 days. When you purchase we will be in touch with you within 24 hours to discuss.
