Peer Sorensen

Peer Sorensen has been making wooden chopping boards for 35 years. Founded in 1981, originally these boards were made out of precious Tasmanian hardwoods. With the change of times, the boards are now made out of various woods like Acacia and European Beech from environmentally sustainable forests as well as marble. These environmental sustainable hardwood boards have excellent antibacterial qualities, look great and wear really well.

The boards feature beautiful grain patterns and of course every board is unique and different. The boards are made from excellent quality sustainable Acacia and Beech wood which provides a durable and high-density surface perfect for everyday use. We have a huge range of these boards in our Auckland store and online for you to choose from.

Store Pick Up Only - these products are particularly fragile and despite significant effort over the years to protect them when couriering we still encountered multiple breakages and therefore have chosen to no longer courier these items.

Ships 2-4 working days – we pick these products up from our local suppliers twice a week and then send to you.

Ships 5-8 working days – we order these products from our suppliers in Australia twice a week and then send to you on the same day they arrive in our store.
